After studying literature and journalism at the Sorbonne in Paris, Marguerite Bornhauser joined the National School of Photography in Arles and graduated in 2015. In 2014 she left for a 6 month residency in Weissensee School of Art Berlin. Her work has been widely shown : in the streets of Cincinnati (Big Pictures), in Arles during the festival of Photography, in Deauville during the Festival Planche(s) Contact or in Paris at BETC and Agnès B. Marguerite Bornhauser adds editorial work to her photographic research. Her first book, Plastic Colors, originally self published, was selected among the 10 finalists of the First Book Award in 2015 by the English publisher MACK. It was exhibited in London at the Science Museum, in Paris at the BAL, in Arles Book COSMOS 2015 and just got published with Les Editions du Lic and Galerie Made. Her second book "8" will soon be published with Editions Poursuite. On the side she also did editorial works with several french newspapers and magazines (Libération, Le Monde, M le Mag, Neon, etc) and gives photography workshops to kids.
